COOLING PROCESS

  • Smooth and slow cooling is important, very fast cooling can lead to material internal stress.
  • Take into consideration room temperature and sheet size.

HEATING TIMES

  • Heating times depend on material, thickness and sheet dimension.
  • Reference: thicknesses 2-4 mm (2-3 minutes per thickness).
  • Double thickness does not mean double time!.
  • Even if transparency of material is an indication, make tests for each thickness and material.
  • Attention! – There is a risk you may overheat the material.

HEATING TIPS

  • Check your ovens real operation conditions, pre-heating and accuracy are key.
  • Even heating on all parts of the sheet is important to avoid stress on material.
  • Clean oven surface and make sure it is smooth and not sticky, Teflon solid base is highly recomended.
